Playa Tamarindo was my third stop during my first trip to Costa Rica. After spending a few days exploring San José Costa Rica I headed to Dreams Las Mareas all inclusive resort in the Guanacaste region and then to Playa Tamarindo. I love that Playa Tamarindo has such a fun vibe with lots of restaurants, nightlife and a beach town environment. Very different from the relaxed and secluded beach getaway at Dreams Las Mareas at Playa El Jobo. It was a real treat to experience both of these different beaches in Guanacaste.
